Some KUPC Youth Before Service at Braveheart Event!

A Nursery for Young Children through age 5 is designed to be a warm and nurturing atmosphere to welcome the youngest members of God’s family.  Young children enjoy a Bible story, craft, music, and snack in the nursery, after spending the first 10 minutes in worship and listening to a short Children’s Sermon. (Infants can spend the entire hour of worship in nursery.) We are not offering a nursery every Sunday, but rather for special services only, at this time.

Adult and Youth Sunday School Classes meet occasionally between 9:30 – 10:30, prior to weekly worship.

The KUPC Youth Group is an opportunity for Middle School and Senior High Youth to gather for fellowship, service and growth.  Outreach by the group includes occasional outings, mission trips, retreats and community involvement. Pictured above are some youth volunteers prior to a BraveHeart Event, designed to provide fun opportunities for young adults with cognitive and developmental challenges and their families.

The Women’s Bible Study meets most weeks on Friday at 9:30am in the Cleek Parlor at the church.  This group enjoys an intensive Bible study and fellowship time.  Their studies are varied and are selected by, and taught by, members of the group.

The Men’s Breakfast Group meets most weeks on Thursday at 8:00am at Bob Evans.  Lectionary scripture readings for the upcoming week are discussed over breakfast.

The CE Committee continues to explore new and different ways our young people can be more incorporated into the worship hour. If you have ideas or questions, or would like to serve on our committee, please contact Margaret Buttrick at 304-342-6558.
