Robert Vannoy
We are delighted to introduce our Music/Choral Director, Mr. Robert Vannoy, who brings a wealth of experience and a passion for music to our church. With over two decades of experience in choral music and an impressive educational background, we are thrilled to welcome him to lead our music program and join our church family.
Mr. Vannoy’s approach to music is deeply rooted in creating beautiful harmonies and helping singers reach their full potential. His strong work ethic, belief in the power of collaboration, and unwavering love for music serve as the foundation for his success. He firmly believes that there is always more to learn, and we are at our strongest when we listen to and care for one another.
With a Diploma in Kodály Music Education from the Kodály Pedagogical Institute of the Liszt Academy in Hungary, a Master of Music in Music Education from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from West Virginia University, Mr. Vannoy’s education is as impressive as his experience.
In his previous roles as choir director for both schools and a church, music professor, and piano accompanist, Mr. Vannoy has learned and demonstrated his wide range of skills in choral direction and music leadership. At Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral, Robert conducted the Cathedral Choir of thirty singers. He has honed his musical abilities through continuous study, performance, and a passion for his craft. Mr. Vannoy currently works part time as Saint Albans High School’s Choir Director.
