Welcome to Charleston's oldest house of worship, serving our community since 1816. As pastor of Kanawha United Presbyterian Church, We want to greet you on behalf of this community of faith. Everyone is welcome here!

In the fourth chapter of Ephesians we read that "...some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ..." Notice that there is no hierarchy of roles. All of us are laborers in God's kingdom. And, each of us is called on to "build up" the person next to us. We do not grow in isolation, but in our mutual instruction to each other. What a wonderful vision we are given for ministry.

What gifts do you have? We invite you to share them at Kanawha United Presbyterian Church. Through Fellowship, prayer, discussion, and worship we seek to equip each other for ministry to the glory of our risen Lord.
